brembo brakes

Well my buddy is gonna give me a deal on his ****** Evo 8. He's gonna give me his front/rear brembo rotors, brembo calipers, lines, and pads all for pretty cheap. This is a great deal for brembos and even if they don't fit on the SI, I do have a vr4/240 I can stick them onto. What do you guys think?

2nd question is will they fit on the SI lol. I don't think so since the calipers are pretty big and I'm pretty sure they prob won't clear the stock 17's w/o spacers. But I am 2nd guessing myself a lot since the Enkei's they sit on are 17's too. I just don't know offset.

What do you guys think???

Sell them on ebay, use the money to buy stuff that was made to fit on your car. That's what I think.

Does anyone know if I'll have to change the knuckle? Would I have to do some major stuff to fit these brakes onto my SI? Has anyone done this before??

If you're just trying to see if the rotors fit, you should'nt have to change the knuckle.

You are going to need an impact screwdriver so you can get your stock rotors off.

I Have the impact gun. I'm wondering it the caliper will fit though w/o huge modifications. I don't mind having to grab some spacers for wheels to fit, but changing literally everything is just not really smart for me to do now. So does anyone know if I need to grab knuckles too for caliper to fit??

Not an impact gun for taking off the wheel, you need an impact screwdriver. You hit it with a hammer to loosen up the screws that are in you stock rotors.

This is what you need: Impact Screwdriver
