Total Cost?

Hey all,
I just got my first set of rims (17" on an LX coupe) and of course now I'm interested in a drop. I have some questions though and I hope someone has some numbers off hand because there is so much information in this part of the forum it's making my head spin.

What exactly do I need, and how much is it probably going to cost for parts + labor?

I know I need the drop kit/springs, obviously. Do I need to get a camber kit? I drive about 60 miles a day if that means anything. Any suggestions on kits? I always see Eibach and Skunk2 names thrown around here so I'm assuming one of those. Anything else I'm missing? Lastly, how much do you expect I'd pay for installation? This isn't something I can do myself.

Thank you for any help!

1. Variably, a camber kit can and will be a good idea. If you drop too low, your camber will be off, and will need to be brought back to spec again. Conversely, some people get camber kits anyway so they can fine tune their camber for better cornering.

2. Eibach is a great name for suspension. They're known for it. Skunk2's not so much.

Thanks Izzy.

40+ other views and no one can give a cost estimate?

Would the HFP Springs be better than Eibach? If so, is that a good deal?

If you want to adjust your camber, then yes get a camber kit.

But as for springs I would go with the eibach hands down. But if you're into a linear spring then get a progress.

200 Springs, 250 camber, 50ish alignment, 200+ install. It can get expensive, unless you can do your own stuff.
