Recommend HFP suspension kit or eibach pro kit

Hey guys...im wondering if a HFP suspension kit is a lot better than just an eiback pro kit. I live in Boston and the roads up here suck so i dont wanna drop my car more than 1" in the front and back. I found an eibach pro kit on corsport with a 1" front and 1" back drop for $219 and a HFP suspension kit from college hills honda is available for $612. Is the HFP suspension kit really worth it???

Yes it is very much worth it. The difference is the Pro Kit is only springs while the HFP kit is dampeners and all, that were designed to improve the handling characteristics of the car.

good thing about it is that you keep your warranty on that.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Eibach Pro-kit- eibach makes some of the best springs in the world. however, the fact that the HFP kit comes with both the springs and dampers, as firestrife said.

the pro-kit will eventually cause the stock dampers to prematurely fail... and currently, Eibach isn't making dampers for our car to match their springs to my knowledge.

I am looking at the HFP kit. Has anyone had it installed by a Honda dealer? How much? They did not even know what I was talking about at the Glen Cove NY Honda dealer...

It would be cheaper to buy yourself a jack+ 2 stands, if you dont have one. and do it yourself.

Dealer quotes have varied from $200 - $350 if i recall.

The Prokit seemed to ride better imo and the drop is slightly more. The HFP kit is pretty stiff on bad roads but i like it better cause its an oem part that carrys a warrenty through honda. Both are great!! Its all in how much you want to spend.

i was quoted 430.00 at the stealership! i mean dealership! that's only labor and that's here in cali. i guess prices will vary state to state and also depends on the dealership. so i decided to install it myself.

Jerks. I am going to install on my own. I just bought 18" HFP wheels so I'll need to save for the HFP drop...

Take pictures of your install. I am looking for a FA5 HFP suspension DIY...
