About Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers:

Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers feature the latest advanced shock technology and a carefully designed dampening curve for a shock that dramatically improves handling. The Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers feature an adjustable mono-tube design with an oversized, micro-polished, hardened steel shaft and piston with a precision honed internal bore and low friction triple seal – resulting in an extremely responsive and durable coilover. Each PRO-C kit features precise 12-way adjustable valving and one-piece forged shock body for added strength and reliability. Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers feature shortened shock bodies and shafts to maintain proper suspension travel on lowered vehicles and are adjustable to allow height adjustments without affecting pre-load. Included with the Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers are either CNC-Machined camber plates with spherical bearings or top mounts with polyurethane bushings (depending on application). With Skunk2 Coilovers, enthusiasts can quickly and precisely set adjustments to improve the vehicle’s handling, response, cornering, stability and balance.

Key Advantages of the PRO-C Coilovers:

* Custom Spring rates for certain motorsports applications are available!

* Full Complete kit with no additional parts necessary to have it track and street ready!

* Skunk2 stocks in large quantities of replacement dampers so that you don't have to wait for rebuilds in between servicing. New Skunk2 replacement dampers cost less than most rebuild services out on the market!

* Replacement dampers can be bought directly through Skunk2 so you don't lose any street / track time with fast shipping and service!

* Built with strength, integrity, and performance in mind with larger shaft diameters, linear springs, and vehicle specific valving!

* Proven performance! The Skunk2 2006 Civic Si out performed the competition at the 2007 Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout in the skid pad, beating highly modified Mitsubishi Evolutions, Nissan 350z's, and Subaru STi's with the Skunk2 Pro-C Coilovers!

* Several years of research and development from Pro Racing Teams from all around the world including NHRA, SCCA, Grand-Am Cup, Speed World Challenge, Redine Time Attack, and NASA helped create the PRO-C Coilovers!

The advantages of the PRO-C coilovers are clear!

Custom Spring Rates available at an extra cost.

What's the spring rate on these? Valving? A shock dyno would be nice, too.

"Each PRO-C kit features precise 12-way adjustable valving"
What does it adjust? Bump or Rebound, or one knob for both?

"Custom Spring Rates available at an extra cost."
How high of a spring rate can the damper handle?

"vehicle specific valving!"
Can we see this valving in a shock dyno please

For the '06 Civic, the spring rates are 12kg front and 10kg rear.

In addition, the dampers can handle up to 18kg on some applications however, the 06+ civic has a specific spring length / style so currently it is only the standard springrates. Skunk2 should have other spring rates available in the very near future.

Shock Dyno's? Still why a bigger spring rate in the front than the rear? isn't that counter productive for a FWD track car if these are a track setup...

If we can't see some shock dynos i'll . 670/560 lbs/in f/r. Those like they will ride pretty rough. But that could all be negated if the shock dyno curves are good. For comparison, Tein Flex is 500/560 lbs/in (or 9/10 kg/mm).

So what happens if someone destroys their suspension and then you don't deem it worthy of getting the heavily discounted skunk2 coils? Are you just SOL then? I'm confused, this promotion is too weird lol. Not sure why you'd wanna destroy something that has value.

You will receive the coilovers first at a heavily discounted price. Then you will be expected to destroy your old set up. If you do not destroy your previous set up in the allotted time frame, you will be charged the difference with a previously agreed price (please contact us for the prices).

The suspension can be your STOCK, aftermarket, or even a used one. It's up to you on how creative you want to be! Thank you.
