How stiff do you want 'em?

My RE070's are bordering on backbreaking, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't mind the ride of an S2k on PS2's all too much.

Stiff is fine. Maybe I just track wheels and r-compounds, and leave my stockies on for dd. Ideas about impact wrenches (with proper torque) and quickie wheel changes (no garage, street parking, but plenty of space)?

I recommend against RE070. AWESOME grip, but dang if the ride sucks.

I've been slobbering over RE-01Rs for awhile. Almost the same level as RE070, a bit more civil, a tad better wear. It's no R-compound though, so if you're going to go to the track a lot you might just wanna use separate track wheels with R-comps.

IICR, the re01 are cheaper than the re70. They might be my next tire.

Perfect. I'll get my wheels and get my local Firestone to put those on. Sweet!

Too bad I won't do the suspension/camber (because I want my rubber first!)
