Improving the FN_Type R

We all know the Euro_Civic (FN) has the Torsion-Beam rear suspension. Which made it lag compare to the Independent (Us/Japan) unit.

I was wondering would it be possible to swap over...H.O.A Part# 65750-SNX-A00ZZ (rear crossmember)? Would the surface be direct tap-weld or will there be modifications needed? If so, would the independent-suspensions swap over w/o offsetting the (shocks/hubs/wheel-base)? Since the "Fit" is base off the FN, do they share the same surface in that area?

Just looking for ways to improve an under achieve Type R!

Well since the euro Type R is practically a different car than the JDM and USDM civic, I'm going to assume a major part like part of the suspension wouldn't be a direct swap. Then again, I'm usually wrong about these things

Why bother swapping the rear torsion beam?
its not as bad as people make it to be
Just get a set of KW coil overs and you're set!
although I think LSD makes more of a difference to the handling
