What happened to searching or looking at other posts for your info?
I'm not trying to be an ass but we get way too many posts like these that don't contribute anything new. The same question has been asked over and over hundreds of times. H-tech will be fine and they should last the life of the car. Your dampers will blow at a faster rate than stock because of the lowering though. You might also need camber bolts and a camber kit if you wanna keep a decent performance camber setting after the drop. Last edited by friedk; 02-02-2008 at 04:21 AM. |

coilovers will give you a much more controlled ride compared to springs. Eventually your stock struts will crap out and you will be bouncing all over the place. If you have the money I would go with something like the mugen or HFP kit. Just depends on how low you want to go

If you can't wait to drop your car, then get Eibach Sportlines, you will not have any scraping issues even with after market wheels, front/rear camber kits from Ingalls, keep your stock shocks until Konis come out. If you can wait "my advice" get Ground Control and Konis, they'll be out in 3 to six months that way you get the best of both worlds.

If you were going to do it right in terms of lowering the car, then a coilover setup is a lot better than simply throwing on aftermarket springs onto your stock dampers. It's not a matter of the springs wearing out, it's the dampers that is to worry about. The biggest disadvantage to these coilover setup is that they aren't necessarily the best bang of the buck in terms of performance. In some cases, they are worse than your stock suspension. But if your goals include dropping it like it's hot with your wheels tucked, then it should be fine. It's just a matter of equipping the proper dampers with the desired spring rates.

Dude why are even posting this on here? Go to 9thgencorolla since you have a corolla man! Jeez! Not to be a hater but it's kinda dumb to post asking a honda forum on what should go on your rolla.
Anyhoo i had the Tokico HP (blue) and Tein H-Tech on the rolla remember? This is how low it was: ![]() ![]() Hope that helps |
