Either the adjustable race, or the Double adjustable race with the adjustable height..

Alright quick question for Chris or Greg....I already have Eibach Sprotlines on my FG2 and the ride quality isn't as good as I want it to be and I was looking at just getting the..

RedShift/Koni Sport (Yellow) Shock Package (front and rear, includes hardware)- 2006+ Honda Civic+Core Charge

and I was wondering if just getting the shocks would have a dramatic impact on the overall ride quality. When I hit bumps and stuff my back end tends to kick out a little bit, it might be due to alinement issues (but I just got an alinement a few months ago) or blown shocks, I am not sure, not a suspension geru like you guys.

Thanks.

I don't see why people were conserned about paying 45 bucks for welding in the first place. Sounds like too many panties were in a bunch.

For Daily Driving, the RACE valving will be fairly stiff. You should also consider the Sports and coilovers. that would make for a nice suspension setup. But for no-holes-barred performance, the RACE valved is the best performance, albeit with some compromise for ride.

In case you all hadn't noticed, we've extended the pre-order because nobody has purchased anything yet and we are getting a thousand questions. With the new "streamlined" pricing, it should be much easier. So, last day to pre-order is April 30 for May 15th delivery... and many will ship before then I'm sure.

We will likely be using threads to fasten the cap on now. The machine shop has cnc threading capability, and there is no chance of the weld being an issue. Threading is a better way overall.... like the way koni does their own cap nut. This does not require our welding, but it does require an expensive threading tool that we will be getting. So, the pricing remains as is with us doing all the fab work.

No installs yet. Will do as soon as we get the parts. I a couple weeks. The designs are on our website at 06 Civic Susp Packages

The rear is like the skunk2 spring setup. The front is like a custom modified housing but using production parts rather than custom 1-off race bits.

I got confused. What is the "cap" that you are referring too? The cap that holds the the fluid in the damper? It thought that cap was always going to be threaded on. I thought all the welding is for the lower mount. Are you all threading the lower mount on or welding it on?

Do these come with full install instructions? Cause apparently the Skunk2 Pro-S's don't have any.

Hey Paul... the cap is what holds the strut in. It's also what has the external threads. There is no welding anymore. :) It's a threaded piece now.

Bouncy suspensions are usually a lack of rebound and sometimes too much compression valving. The Koni Sports have reasonable bump rates and very strong rebound; so you'll find that the Koni Sports do away with any bouncy feeling in the suspension almost completely. There is also some bouncy feeling from certain tires, but that's less common.

So, yes the Koni Sports will do away with the bouncy almost completely.
