How much for just the reds? Would that be a good choice for some comptech springs? Or should I go with something different? I just want a good setup. Not necessarily adjustable.

If we do the fab it's additional $45.
If you want us to ship them complete to you and then you ship back your stocks, then you give us $120 front and we refund that cash back to you when we receive your struts.
And the shipping is an additional $12-22 depending on where you live (see the map at the bottom of the website page). APRIL PRE-ORDER

So, if you live in Zone C (worst case), you would pay
+$693 shock kit
+$45 fab by RedShift
+$22 shipping
+$120 core charge
= TOTAL $880 you pay now. You send your struts back to us and we reimburse you $120 cash (check);
SO YOU PAY $760 IN THE END!!! :) That's a DEAL for all you get now!!!!!

Chris at RedShift
This is very confusing as far as what option I would want to go with. I wish you guys were in my town so I could just come up there and figure out what I wanted, lol.

Since you don't want adjustability the easiest way for you to get some konis on your car = the Koni Reds. Chris has explained that Koni Reds are pretty much Yellows turned up 1/3rd.

+550$ Koni Reds
+12-22$ Shipping
+45$ for the fabrication work for the front housings (unless you want to weld them yourself)
+120$ for them to use their own stock strut housing to put the koni red insert into (core charge)
-120$ for when you send your stock front struts to them after you get your koni reds on.
= 607$

I feel like I work for these guys or something.. I just want to see people get on some konis!

I think Koni's would be grand; I'm just bummed we have to do mods to the struts for it to work.

So why do you have to get all of that stuff done? You can't just order them and put them on? That's all pretty inconvenient.

so basically 600 for the nonadjustable ones. Would it be worth the extra money to get the next step up? I guess that would be the yellows?

I know you guys offer camber/caster plates that are supposed to be quickly & easily adjustable, but I do not need quick adjustability. Could I still use an aftermarket company's front and rear camber adjusters with the new koni shocks?

looking for some input... my concern lies in the conditions a set of adjustable ride height coilovers might endure here in the pacific northwest. I think once the initial ride height is dialed in for lets say summer... and fall/winter comes around when I might want to raise the ride height... then winter ends but alot of grime has built up on the sleeves should I be overconcerned(as I am now) about that grime damaging the threads of the sleeves? I was once told adjustable height coilovers should be set once but then what is the point...... Any advice/experience would be much appreciated.

If it has been a while since you last adjusted your ride hehght, you should clean off the threads before you change the height. Its just one of those routine maintenance things you have to accept of you want coilovers.

I've decided to make this all alot easier. All fabrication and shipping is now included! The only option is now the $120 core fee if you want us to provide you with used housings so you can bolt them right on. It doesn't get any easier than this!

APRIL PRE-ORDER

So if you want Koni Red shocks, it's now $610 including shipping and fabrication.

As I am from the rust-Belt (North-East) I understand your concern. A coating of Permatex Anti-Seize should keep the grime out of the threads, and on the surface of the coating, out of harms way. This will prevent the the sleeves from binding and seizing as well as lubricating the threads. If the sleeves look really nasty then clean them well with Brake or Carb cleaner first (residueless de-greaser), re-apply some fresh antiseize and adjust the ride height.

If you have to deal with Snow and Salt (Being west you probably do not) then removing the C/O's for eth winter and going back to stock is a best way to go.

Finally someone asks this most obvious question. :) They are used; so I cannot guarantee the condition. I can say that of the few sets we have here now, they are all in perfect condition. They have an extremely durable paint on them; so even after a few years, I don't see them as degrading substantially.

We have both Si and non-Si housings, and they are very similar. Still, if you want a specific one, you can specify which model you want.

Thanks!
Chris

^ With this new offer, I can honestly say it's a REALLY attractive package to jump on. I was considering the Skunk2 Pro-S Coilovers but this package makes me think twice...

"RedShift/Koni Sport (Yellow) WITH EIBACH PRO-KIT Suspension Package (1.0/1.2" Drop) - 2006+ Honda Civic"

All I need is a 1.0" drop as I have to deal with salt-laden Northeast Canadian winters. I just need to know I'm paying for a solid product that's new and reliable. Not questioning Redshift's integrity or reputation - just voicing my concerns as a safe consumer. The Pro-S's are a couple of hundred bucks cheaper but I would rather have the suspension expertise that you guys devote into your product. Plus I heard the Pro-S's ride pretty harsh.

Decisions, decisions...

Do you guys offer a warranty as well?
