I think everyone understands height adjustment. Stupid question time: what's the double adjustable vs. single? One more: do you have pics of the modification (without giving up your trade secret, or whatever?)

Thanks

Also, could we have those posted with the stock dynos and sport dynos for a compare/contrast session. So we can can get an idea of how they will ride and handle.

The other difference is that the valving is normally about 70% of the Sports valving, so you have to turn it up a little to equal the sports. It's more of a comfort shock that is also very good technology. The internals are the same as the Sports, just that the valving is softer and the adjustments cannot be made with the shock on the car.

Keep the questions coming!!! :)
Chris
Does that mean we could order reds and get the most aggressive adjustment setting done by you guys to equal the sports? I don't really care for messing with them. I just want a good shock setup.

"Single Adjustable Konis" give you the ability to adjust rebound and not compression. This gives you the ability to adjust how the shock handles the mass of the car without affecting how it absorbs bumps. All other "single adjustable" shocks that I know of (and there are a ton of them) adjust both rebound AND compression with the SAME knob; so you end up having to turn up compression to control the mass of the car more, and the result is a harsh ride and loss of traction over bumps.

The "Double Adjustable" Konis allow you to adjust compression and rebound with DIFFERENT knobs. So, you can adjust compression for improved traction (better tires or more grippy surface) separately from rebound (to handle the mass of the car). These are mostly used by racers and not necessary for daily driving.

And I have put up all the pics I have of the suspension parts on our website. You can view them here.... 06 Civic Susp Packages

Absolutely... will do. The RACE konis aren't as bad as you might think. :) I love them for a Daily Driver, but some people would hate them.

I also like to drive my 88 Civic with 1/4" toe out in back in the snow!!! I never thought you could almost spin the car going perfectly straight. :) haha!!!!

Hey Paul... do you want Camber Plates?? We are going to do them, but we can get the KMac ones now. Ours won't be ready for a couple months most likely.... although you and Tom Lim have been waiting for awhile and I'm going to throw a set in for free to each of you for being so patient. :)

But do you need something now?? If so, K-macs are $370 retail... kinda expensive but we can get them because we've been a dealer for years. Or maybe Josh at Excelerate can get them... don't want to step on toes. But let me know either way. Just offering them to you (Paul) and Tom Lim for your service to us in being patient.

Well, theoretically you can make the Reds about the same as Yellows turned up 1/3 of the way. The Reds are great. I recommend them for anyone not wanting to mess with them at all.

You can have any rate you desire and no change in price. Spring are Eibach Race Spring 2.5" front and rear.
