yes, but now it says $50 and $5 for pre-order because I am interested in getting these done correctly for people, but we can't do them for free because it is a fair amount of work.
So, $45 for all the fab and tig welding on both front strut housings. Still a $120 core charge if want to get the complete front strut and housing from us and then return your struts for a full $120 cash refund. Chris |

Correct, so our lowering spring kits are Eibach Pro-Kit/Sportline and the coilovers are Eibach Race Springs, and you don't get any better quality than that. We can get 4 chinese made crap springs for the price of one good Eibach Race Spring. They are consistent always and don't have sag issues!

Yellows are $693 If we do the fab it's additional $45. If you want us to ship them complete to you and then you ship back your stocks, then you give us $120 front and we refund that cash back to you when we receive your struts. And the shipping is an additional $12-22 depending on where you live (see the map at the bottom of the website page). APRIL PRE-ORDER So, if you live in Zone C (worst case), you would pay +$693 shock kit +$45 fab by RedShift +$22 shipping +$120 core charge = TOTAL $880 you pay now. You send your struts back to us and we reimburse you $120 cash (check); SO YOU PAY $760 IN THE END!!! :) That's a DEAL for all you get now!!!!! Chris at RedShift |

^^^NEVERMIND...i saw it has been changed on the pre-order page. But what is the difference between koni red and koni yellow? I'm probably going to get the neuspeed race springs myself and then just order a pair of shocks. I saw you had them paired with the reds. Will they be okay? What's the different between Reds and Sports? More aggressive valving on the sports and adjustability vs less aggressive no adjustability?
I'm surprised you guys were actually going to sell Neuspeed sport and race! I thought it wasn't advisable to lower a car that 1.6 and 2.0. |

The Reds are not externally adjustable. They are adjustable, but you have to be able to compress the shock piston all the way and turn it to make an adjustment. The adjustment is designed to be made with the shock off the car obviously. So you set it once and it's done. The other difference is that the valving is normally about 70% of the Sports valving, so you have to turn it up a little to equal the sports. It's more of a comfort shock that is also very good technology. The internals are the same as the Sports, just that the valving is softer and the adjustments cannot be made with the shock on the car.
Keep the questions coming!!! :) Chris |

Plus their quality and selection of race springs for coilovers is unmatched. If you want fixed springs on a daily driver, the Sportlines and a rear Progress bar are a great combo. The Koni Sport shocks will make a world of difference for handling on that car. The Reds are not as strong a performance shock as the Sport for sure.... and you can turn up the sports if you want to go play!!! I've never had Reds on my car because I like to play with shocks alot. :) Cheers, Chris |

DA Dynos? Paaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesse
I had Koni reds on my DC2. They were great!!!! Rode way better than stock and handled way better too. The Reds have to be the best handling/ride compromise dampers on the market. I wonder if thats what it feels to drive a stock BMW (all the mags say Bimmer is the best at the handling/ride thing)
