Is this a good idea?

I have this friend (not me) who went back to his stock suspension after having Tein Basics in his car for only two days (not me). Anyway, when I...I mean...he went back to stock and he drove his car around, he says (not me) that he hears minor noises coming from his front suspension whenever he goes over bumps. The sounds aren't too scary sounding, but he claims they are there. They are only happening to my...I mean...his stock suspension after he and a couple of friends installed it in his garage. Ppl say it may be the sound of the springs settling in. It may be the case but who knows. This is the first time that he has ever experienced this. He had no problems before this.

Now, can my friend (not me) go back to Honda and act like the problem just came out of the blue? Can I...uh...he say that he hears something and doesn't really know what it is? Is it possible for me...I mean...him to lie in order to still be under warrany when it comes to the suspension?

Once again, let me reiterate, I'm asking for a friend.

i'd say he(wink, wink) might have a chance but they may take notice to some parts being recently wrenched on like slightly worn nuts and bolts and and fingerprints. I dunno something to consider.

I think your friend can certainly give it a shot. If they say 'no, the suspension has been tampered with' then you can either fight it or just live with it.

before I did anything I would look at the suspension very closely, I would assume that your friend may have been it back together slightly wrong, the springs really need to be in a specific position, and the caps must be as well...I was, I mean my friend had this exact situation happen to him, in the end, he took it back apart, reset the top caps and everything was perfect...
