H&R Sport springs?

I have just installed my 225/35/19 TSW mondello rims and am looking to drop my car. I'm looking heavily into the H&R sport springs, but wanted to see if anyone has these and what they think? Also does anyone know if a drop would even work due to the size of my rims/tires? The front springs are a
1.6" drop and the back a 1.5" drop. Thanks for any advice you can offer :)

I am also thinking of getting these springs as they make them for the sedan. Has anyone tried them and care to give a review?

I've never seen them on an Si but I know the HR Sport Springs for the Celica drop the car on its face. I'd imagine the same for the Civic.

I went into a local shop today to inquire about the H&R springs (they are a distributor for them). So they called them directly and were told the springs have not been released yet. Yet I found a link on eBay saying they are selling those exact springs, what’s up with that!

I just want my sedan springs. So I can do a and go get out of my car and IT!

Sorry I'll stop posting about this till I actually get my springs installed.

I think I got there and it was for Civic Sedan 03 and up but i'm pretty sure it is for 03-05s but I could be wrong. I don't think the springs will be the same as the older models.

Ya that is a good idea...H&R said it would be 4 to 6 weeks and I assume they are using the same R&D but I should call to confirm. H&R has been saying 4-6 weeks for 4 weeks now.

Well I installed my H&R sport springs for the sedan today. 1.6 in the front and 1.3 in the back.
I really like the way it sits and I will post some photos if it ever stops raining long enough. The ride is pretty good with just a little bounce but hardly noticeable. Still not stiff enough though...does anyone know if a SI sway bar fits on a dxg sedan? ar any other sway bar?
Oh ya no rubbing so far...I'm running 18s with 225-40s with a 42 offset.

i hope you didn't say you installed just the lowering spring...
i have a friend who blew his entire suspension in 8 months after installing just the spring. honda wouldn't cover the warranty coz he already modify the spring. the mechanic explained to him that you should not pair an aftermarket spring to a stock shock coz the shock is not up to the task of a progressive spring.
always better to go w/ a combination of aftermarket shock/spring or better yet a full coilover. but if you go with these, you'll shed a pretty good amount of dough.

but just in case it happens to you, let me know.

hope this help you guys out there thinking of doin the suspension or lowering the car.

Well when they make an aftermarket shock maybe I will install them till then I'll ride on the stock ones. I'm not that worried about it...I've always just installed springs and everything was fine I don't drive like a freaking idiot not that your friend does either but Ive just never had problems.

^ ^ ^ +1 on the pics. Im about to get these springs too. Can you post close ups of the wheel gap in the front and rear? Thanks in advance. BTW the car looks great.

EDIT: did you have to get a camber kit for the alignment to work?

I'm waiting a week before I get my alignment done just so everything settles. The camber in the back is off and for sure the only way to correct it is to get the camber kit. I'm probably going to wait till I get shocks in a couple of years once my tires wear out.
