Red Calipers

Just painted my brake calipers red over the weekend. It will have to do until I get my Stop Tech big brake kit. Has anyone done this to their '06?

Thanks!!
Picking a quality paint is the first thing....and just take your time. I even left the calipers on the car. Each one has 2 coats. Took about and hour to do and the hardest part was not driving it for 24 hours waiting for it to dry

Yea...they give you a small brush to apply it and I was able to get in the smallest of spaces and didnt even touch the pads or rotors

The instructions say to wait two hours for the paint to cure before reapplying the wheels. Did you just leave the car on jackstands while you waited?

No, I didn't understand why they say that. The wheels don't touch the calipers. I put them back on after about 10 minutes and did the other side. I waited about 18 hours before driving instead of the 24

-Where did you get your "Stop Tech big brake kit"? & You didn't even take off your calipers, right? So you didn't spray it but paint it, right? Does that kit provide cleaners for the brake dust? Thanks!!!
