Question about dampers/springs

I've got an opportunity to pick up some Si dampers pretty cheap. Would it be worth it to pull my stock EX sedan suspension (and set it aside), and install the Si damper with some springs? Then I could put the stock suspension back on if the dampers blow.

Will the Si dampers last longer with a slight (around 1") drop since they are valved more aggressively?

Would just putting the springs on my stock EX dampers be a better idea?

I know I'm going to wear the dampers out early, but I'm like everyone else, waiting on Koni! I'm also looking a just around a 1" drop, nothing really aggressive.

Thanks for the help,
Brian

The Si suspension will not drop your car, the Si is a heavier car and if anything your car will sit a few mm higher.

The safe thing to say is to just keep your money and wait till the Koni comes out.

Get the ground control and koni yellows. People way not know but it's not gonna be expensive like what others think.

Thanks guys!

That's kind of what I was thinking, but just wanted some opinions.
