Tein S. Tech

A few weeks ago me and the guys from motorsports authority installed the Tein S. Tech springs on my SI. I absolutly love them. It gave a 1.6" drop in the front and a 1.4" drop in the back. The stance is really aggressive now and handles great, i just need to get rid of the stock tires so i have some traction. The only issues we had on the install was getting to the strut mounts in the front which we had to take off the plastic windshield rain guard thing between the windshield and hood. and work in a confined space to loosen the bolts and the back is now set up like a stang. Definitly woulda been tougher doing the install without a lift. Overall the ride is a little bouncy nothing stiffer shocks can't take care of. But i'm very pleased.

Awesome, can't wait til I see the pics.

Someone suggested me to get Tein springs but I'm not too sure about it yet.

i know the pics aren't the best but weather permitting i'll have some better ones this week. Overall the ride is a little bouncy but I have no issues with ground clearance tho. I definitly recommend them.

looks good, a noticable diffrence, That what iam going to do too, I think pro kit is not enough, and the neusspeed or whatever its called is too low, so the Tein is just perfect.

killer!

Those springs look awsome!! I love the look of a lowered car, but I'm wanting a bit more of a drop than yours......any suggestions.....like those Nuespeeds??

the Teins were perfect... for me anyways. If your looking for a lower ride either the neuspeeds or i'd even suggest a full coilover set. I've heard some good and some bad reviews on the neuspeeds atleast for other civics. Coilovers would give a really stiff ride, but in my personal opinion to rough. I believe Skunk2 has some out...or is in the process of manufacturing them right now. Overall mine dropped 1.6" in the front and 1.4" in the back...maybe a little more since they have settled but those numbers are pretty accurate.

Any issues with camber with that drop? I remember reading on one of the threads here that their drop gave them a bit of positive camber.

Are you going to leave the alignment as is? It appears the top of the wheel is tilted in, negative camber. Is it a better handling setup?

for the time being yes. When i end up upgrading to new rims i'll get a camber kit for it. But for right now it handles great. The camber isn't bad enough right now for me to complain.
