Anyone have dampers out yet?

I want to lower my Si the day I get it but don't really need coilovers. Was wondering if anyone has released dampers yet?

Short answer... NO.

I've been in constant cntact with Koni North America since October when I got my LX Coupe (SCCA autocross competition in H Stock) and basically Koni sees the importance of getting a product to market based on its popularity at SEMA and the fact that Honda is selling almost every one they build; yet they are having trouble getting the stampings from Honda to make a direct fitment unit that'll pass curb impact tests and such.

They can modify your front struts with an insert and use a modified Mustang donor shock on the rear, but I would rather wait for Koni to make something specifically engineered for the chassis.

I only consider Koni for my cars, but I believe nobody has anything yet, unless you go with something totaly cu$tom.

Thanks for the heads up on the Koni's that's what I'd like to be riding on. I'd settle for Eibach but had Koni's under my Focus and loved them

thanks again

H & R Racing has coilovers for the sedan. Might work with the Si too.

Show me where ANY of those brands have made it to SCCA/ SPEED World Challenge, Champ Car, Indy Car/IRL, F1, etc. I'm not saying they suck, but they cannot match the depth of abilities the Koni corporation is capable of producing. Nor do results lie...

Sorry "holmes", real racers will agree with me on this.

HKS has been huge with Formula D, and getting into World Rally Racing. This has been true with TEIN, and JIC as well. TEIN is one of the leading suspension tuners for any import vehicle.
"The World Rally Championships, where the potential is tested on all types of surfaces and the N1 race where production basis cars race head to head for the 1/1000 second lead is where TEIN participates in the motorsports scene as part of the development process." -TEIN Webpage
I am very familiar with the race track...I frequent Buttonwillow raceway, Laguna Seca, among many others. TEIN has been all that I have ever used, because I feel they are the very best. I use to work at a performance shop where I tested many other setups, and no other setup gave the responce, or feel such as TEIN

Good one for sticking up for TEIN!!! They have always suited my driving style and needs!! I still like Koni's aswell, I had a set of struts matched with some S-Techs on my Prelude! That was so cush!!
