eibach makes comptechs springs, goldline used to make them but all pro-kits and comptech springs are the same thing.

Actually, I think Eibach's Eibach's are more sport-tuned than the Comptech Eibach's. Comptech's are like, HFP's....factory alternatives.

Do the Comptechs or Eibachs have any kind of "coating" on them? Living up here in Canada where they use salt on the roads. I've found that some springs start to rust a bit and the paint flakes off.

no, i assure you theyre the same exact spring comptechs springs are subsontracted out to eibach, comptech used to use goldline but they had some sagging issues as well as some bad powercoating so they switched to eibach.theyre both powdercoated w/ the companies names on the coils.
