Aftermarket Coilover vs. winter salt
I was talking to some of the technicians at my Honda dealership, and all of them told me that if i got some nice coilovers and whatnot, they would rust in the winter quickly. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with this?

your mechanics are making generalizations.
for 1: KW coilovers are made of stainless and won't rust. for 2: if you apply a coating of Boeshield on any coilover, not only does it provide a phenominal wax-based lubricant which makes adjustment easy, it also makes maintenence easier. remember that you should be spraying off your aftermarket suspension when you wash your car to get off all that nasty road grime. |
