Clutch and brake lines

What are the benefits of changing your clutch line to a stainless steel line?
And are there any quality differences between the ss brake line kits like the corsport lines made by techna fit, or the goodridge lines, or any other manufacturer? Thanks for help

Has any one installed ss brake lines or clutch line? Is it worth doing? Thanks

Benefits are a firmer pedal feel, but the drawbacks are that depending on how the lines are made, dirt and grit can get between the outer SS mesh and the inner teflon tubing and rub holes into the tube and cause brake failure. The lines have to be DOT certified to avoid this issue because they have an inner protective layer. This isn't an issue for a racer who will inspect and replace his lines before they fail.

Same goes for the clutch line, except failure isn't as big a safety issue as with brakes.

I have one, clutch line, difference is undecipherable...I could lie and say its the best mod in the world, but honestly I had one lying around...

you can use any rsx, ep3, hell almost every hydraulic clutch civic would work...they arent expensive...very easy to change...

as for failure I've used them for 5+ years on 3 different cars, never had problem

Break lines do make pedal firmer for breaks...I always do that upgrade imo it's a great upgrade...do get dot approved ones though I see his point roughly $100.00...Imo Good MOD

Which is less than two years per car - not exactly the kind of endorsement I'd want if I planned on owning a car five to seven years.
