Like a 15mm or even a 12mm would be almost ideal if you could get the right dampers ont he car

Orrrrrrr, if you don't care what class your in and just want a safe place to let it all hang out, put on all the mods you want and go have fun. Thats what i do. My car/skills are out growing the streets (i.e. I found out how to go from 7/10ths to 9/10ths) so i just want to ride the limit and do care how I compare to others as long as my times improve and I can kick my own ass.

I'm kinda thinking along Sirbelch's line.

Since this is my commuter car (30 miles each way) I still value every day drivability. I've got new shocks coming in (probably selling Eibach Pros), then plan on getting the BE sways. Not sure what to do with the front sways though--I'm pondering swapping it for the LX one (25.4mm) so that it rotates a bit better. Hoping that plus -1.75 front and -1.2 rear camber will make my car close to neutral. With those mods though it'll probably fall under Street Touring?

STS which you won't be competitive in you can pretty much have alot of fun with the car. springs dampers sways all changable in that class, alignment too.

Whoops, nvm. My wheels are 17x8, which pretty much pits me against Evo's in such in the Street Modified class. Ah well.

STS is fun.. that's what I'm in.
But I can't compete with the 89 Si's who are BUILT for that class.

Remember, the 25.4mm LX bar is hollow... It probably equates to a 19~20mm solid bar. At 12mm like you suggested in another post, I'd just say the hell with the bar altogether and make the dampers and springs do the work and eliminate the wheelspin issue on the Si altogether.

I found this link, within it is a .zip file to a spreadsheet to set up the car. One of the components is a sway bar calculator. If anyone has a bar lying around, take the measurements and let the spreadsheet do the math. Given its size, a 12mm or even 15mm front bar would probably add a negligible amount of additional wheel rate... Nor would it be stiff enough to really make turn-in crisper which is one of the benefits of the front bar.

The front struts will go on the car in the next couple of weeks. Next local event is 10/21 so we'll see what they do.

The next event after that is 11/4. The weekend SEMA ends. If you guys are out here for that and go do Hondata afterward like you're supposed to, you might just have to drive the car

If LSD is stock then it doesn't bump up your class.

Only viscous, factory LSDs (such as those in early Miatas and Sentra SE-Rs) are allowed in STS. The mechanical LSD in the Si, as crappy as it is, puts it in STX.
