Si Springs on LX

I just got Si springs and was wondering if I need to purchase a set of shocks or will the factory shocks be okay? Pease give me some recommendations before I proceed. My main goal is to improve ride quality, not drop it too much.

Thanks.

You can use the current shocks you have from your LX. Just make sure you get a spring compressor.

FYI when you install Si springs on your non-Si it will sit higher than before (because the Si is heavier and the spring is stiffer)

I have an EX coupe and just got some stock SI springs and rear sway from a friend, I put the rear springs on and can notice a little difference in height. How much will it raise it once I get the front springs on? Also where can I find the brackets to bolt the sway bar up?

i think you'll have to hit up a honda dealer to get the brackets/correct bushing...but i'm pretty sure its not too expensive.

there are online OEM parts stores, but i doubt for a part that insignificant that you'd garner much of a deal going that way..

or if you can find a salvaged/junkyard Si somewhere, then you can just rip off theirs, most likely for pretty cheap...and hope they're still good...

That should be easy, my dad is a honda dealer. Anyone notice a big difference in ride height with both front and rear Si springs?
