I would do rear if you're anal, a front camber kit is not needed. I have prokit and bought both front and rear camber kits, my rear was adjusted for the ideal camber but the front was already at 0 degrees and -.1 degrees after the drop without the front kit...

nope you don't have to.. personally i think it's waste of money to buy rear camber kit if you are planning to drop 1'' or lower

yes you're right

Tein H-Tech Lowering Springs

06+ Civic Coupe Lowering Springs

-.8 inch drop in the front
-.7 drop in the back

i think id rather go with these than the eibach.... less camber / rubbing problems/ less chance of messing up shocks... and like i said before, not into VERY low civics, just a little bit lower to match my future 18" RPM2s

wowww im going to be poor.........

Pro kit doesnt give you a "slammed " look on 18's it just fills the wheel gap.

pro kit on 18's

Save up and get pro kit and rear camber kit, its a great setup.

Agreed. Anything less than a prokit and in 6 months or so you'll be wishing you did more.

You would be silly NOT to get a Front and rear camber kit even with the stock suspension. Fromt eh factory the only adjustment you have is TOE, the kits allow for camber adjustment to the specs you desire allowing for improved handling.

well im probably not going to be doing lowering springs just yet... im going to be ordering HIDs, evo2, and RPM2s/nitto neos all within a few days so.. once i get 'bored' of that stuff ill drop some money on springs and possibly a camber kit if i go for the eibach rather than tein h-techs

is the skunk2 rear camber kit good? easy to install?

I had my springs(Ebach prokit) for about 5 month on my car and love them, i went with this springs just because i din't wanted to buy a camber kit, you really dont need a camber kit if you rotate your tires every 3 to 4k miles.

you going to want to drop your car with the 18's my car is an example of what you car will look like with a pro kit drop and 18's.

yes i do have the skunk2 rear camber kits. only cause im a bit anal about things. but you could get away w/o them just remember to rotate your tires but the nittos are made to handle dropped cars with camber.

thanks for the replies everyone - especially rippars, you've helped me out a lot tonight

yea ive read the nittos work well camber-wise with dropped cars, so thats good to know.... and i dont mind rotating my tires every 3-4k because i dont put a lot of miles on my car ( 4500 in the 9 months ive owned it....)

like i said before im about to drop 4 figures on wheels/tires so i have time to think about the h-techs/eibach... hehe

Let me just say that buying wheels before a drop is usually a bad idea. If you're going 18's or even 17's, it'll make your car look like it's a 4X4 and it's tough to make almost any wheels look good with that kind of a stance. This just from my experience over the years, people generally drop first or at the same time as wheels... if you want to see pics of my car with prokit drop, just do a search for "hollywood home depot" or "drop it like itz hot".

I tend to agree but my reasoning was diffrent.

Drop = alignment
Wheels= alignment

Why not do both at the same time so you only have to pay for the alignment once.

why would you have to align after getting wheels?

I would think that the size of the wheels and tires would be a bit larger therefore giving you a bit more/less camber.

It's probably not enough to bother with but if you want to set your car up for great handling every degree of camber counts.

no

when you upgrade wheels to plus one (18" wheels) you go down in tire size.... the overall circumferance of the wheel/tire will be the same on my stock setup as my 18" setup

17" rims with 215/45/17 tires.... going to 18" rims 225/40/18 tires.... the overall circumferance of both are equal, so speedo/camber/alignment will not be affected

and im pretty sure you dont have to align with a spring change drop too... well a small one like in my case anyway
