Its pretty simple really. Want kind of handling do you want. If you put springs on and don't do an alignment, I promise you, your alignment is off. Wrong toe and camber. I used an Eibach pro kit on my car and had an alignment done right afterwards and the toe and camber were way off. Then I put front and rear camber kits on and realigned.

Here is what I dont understand.

Why spend money on springs and wheels only to have the car perform worse?

Spend a little more and do front and rear camber kits so you can adjust the front and rear of the car during an alignment. This I also promise you, your car after the alignment will handle way better than before.

My alignment now is -1.75 camber in the front and -1.5 in the rear. Toe front and rear is set at 0.

Without camber kits, well, good luck.

Here's breakdown.

1) Camber kit is optional, but better for handling.
2) Alignment is ALWAYS necessary. Unless you like wearing out your tires faster and wasting more money.

and im pretty sure you dont have to align with a spring change drop too... well a small one like in my case anyway

not according to that calcuralor. They are 1.8% larger.

11mm taller...

May not even be enough to effect camber, i just know that it's not the same size.

With a spring chance you definately need to. You are moving suspension components all around screwing camber and toe reading all up. I drove my car to the alignment shot with my camber all screwey and it handled like shit. Post alignment it handled like it was on rails.
