I ordered my HFP kit off Honda Parts deals last week and got it in this past Friday. The install date is for this Tuesday so I figured I'd inspect the parts and see the condition of the parts. (UPS hadn't been very nice to the box) I have uploaded pics of what I found.
Upon inspection I found a crack on the plastic sheath that surrounds the shock. Should I worry? Should I wait another week and have them send me a new one? Or does it not really matter on this piece? The other piece I took notice of were the rubber mounts on the stuts. The rubber didn't seem to go flush all the way around, however it was exactly the same on both struts so I'm figuring thats the way there suppose to be. Anyway, any info on these pics would be appreciated. Last edited by SPORT injected; 10-30-2007 at 02:06 PM. |
