Highrev1's advice
By far the best help on suspetion. After reading all post's by him helped me
understand what to do for better handeling.Be'en a noob I thought "Just slap some springs on it"But if you are a noob some stuff you should know before spending money hand over fist. 1)You dont need to lower right away for sweet cornering. But you will need 2 sets of camber bolts for the front if you do not lower. 2)You will need Front and rear camber kit I will need a few pay days before I go low.How ever I had allready got 1 Set of camber bolts for the front and a set of Skunks for the rear. I had to go to the stealership for some Biz. and said go ahead and slap this stuff on.I told them -1.5 camber in the front and -1.0 rear. Sadly with 1 pr.of camber bolts he was only able to go -.6 he said if I had 2 pr. we could go -1.5 or a set of lowering springs. Well I said If thats the best we can do......butten it up and when I get my springs will finish this up.Siting in my car thinken if I had just been a little more paishent I could hae saved some money and been satisfied with a toatel mod on suspention.Wellllll let me tell you that -.6 in the front made a big diff. Now insted of feel'en like I m driven a dump truck I think more ford Ecno van .And when I get my springs an -1.5 in the front..... So all n all thanks highrev1. Im loven my-.6 and that will last till I get my parts and finish up PS I do'en suspention and brakes then......Redshift S/C

Glad to see that Highrev1's words (and his words spread by LucasBlack and I) are sinking in for some people. If you are only about looks (like 90% of the people who post in the suspension section) then don't listen to us. If you are REALLY serious about handling (even if its just on the streets) listen to the word of Highrev1 and his loyal followers. Why spend 1200 on coilovers just so you can say "that drop looks sweet." If you just want a drop, buy lowering springs and blow your stock dampers (shocks for those who think dampers absorb shock, they don't, springs do) in a year or three. Lowering springs and the dampers (that will need to be replaced) will cost less than 1200 for parts.

i got -2 up front with two camber bolts on stock suspension... im glad you are taking this approach and why wish there were more people like you that actually see suspension as handling instead of looks.

Pfft . . . Greg, never knows what he's talking about.
The best bang for the buck suspension is cutting your springs and then posting a thread with a big attention to Greg: ***ATTN HIGHREV1: DO I NEED A CAMBER KIT***?
