any custom setup better than tein flex's?

Is tein flex the best setup for suspension or can you make an even better one through ground controls and aftermarket shocks?

There's no such thing as best. There would be always something better. Also, it's personal preference and what you're gonna be using your car for.

Would it be better if I bought the HFP suspension kit or the Tein Basic kit?

HFP over the basic. HFP has a better damper that will last longer.

If you want a custom coilover that is better than the flex for just a little more, check this thread out and PM the thread starter. This set up will be A LOT BETTER than flex's. I have Flex's and im going to get one of the 2 set ups RSM is offering.

WHO wants a Koni setup...??

I just installed the FLEX on my FG and I have to say I am extremely impressed. I have the TEIN SS on my Accord and the FLEX are more responsive even with my crappy Michelin's. There is a more direct feel w/ the road b/c of the pillowball upper mounts but that is good and bad. More road noise but less give like the OEM rubber mounts. The damping adjustment is pretty responsive too. I had them on 12 and 12 but I put it down to 10 F and 8 R and that made a marked improvement.

You only have 12 different adjustmenst? Some one else on the site said they have 16 and i have 27 and my SS had 17. Both the SS and Flex are supposed to have 16 but i guess they don't have a QC check point at the factory.

eh, why care about quality control if quality isn't considered when throwing the parts together in the first place?
