When installing the sway bar, do you need to put grease between the sway bar and the bushings? If so, what's the best kind?

I recall having to do that with my RSX when I used polyurethane bushings. The OEM bushings, however, are made of rubber.

Thanks!

Took you guys long enough to start doing this.

I was so much happier after I installed the Si bar on my Lx a while back.

for oem bushings, i have never greased them. I don't think there is a need either.

I ordered mine on 4/28. I received the sway bar, bushings and brackets on 5/11 but the holders are on back order. So I can't install it yet. No word on when they'll come in.

yacoub - Yes it does just make sure that you get the brackets, bushings, etc.

I will be installing mine this weekend!

Just finished about an hour ago. Fairly easy install, definately needed the brackets, bushings, and the bolts for the bushings.

I took it for a quick test ride, and it feels noticeably stiffer in the back.

Kurt, it only took about an hour and half. The endlink screws were a bitch until I figured out you had to stick an allen wrench in the end and hold it to loosen the bolts.

I had the allen wrench in there and it was still very very hard. Those screws were on SOOO tight. I was using some lube, and while it helped, it took all my strength to get them off. It wasn't even like where you loosen it a little then it gets a ton easier... mine was a bitch the entire thread of the bolt!

But the end product was worth it. Car handles very noticeably better; best 65 dollars I've spent so far.

Mine weren't easy either, it took some effort all the way down the threads.

I agree, it's a very good "bang for the buck" upgrade.
