i just got eibach sportlines with the skunk2 camber kit for $390 (hell of a deal) but after reading thru a lot of this threads, i saw that in most cases a camber kit is necessary since the beginning, and since i didn't wanna spend extra money on tires, or even take the chance, i went for the camber kit...maybe u should check out ebay for some camber kits, i heard somewhere that u can get them for around $150 used...$200 new

skunk2 springs have a 2.5 front drop, 2.25 rear drop...when u just install them, the drop is not as noticeable, but after they settle, i believe it comes close to that...and i've also read of ppl with the skunk2 that they are thinking on switching to sportlines...
i think i made the right choice with the sportlines..i'll post pics when i get them!! |

i was very close on getting the skunk2, i mean the price difference with the sportlines (incld. camber kit on both) was $90, so i was really really close on getting the skunk2, but then after much thought and reading...eibach is a better company that skunk2 (suspension wise) i mean eibach makes suspensions and springs for F1 teams, rally cars, etc, so for me this choice was more on reliability and name than anything else...we'll see when i get them installed and stuff if that's true

Nice choice on the skunk2 springs first off. Second off, it has been said that the skunk2 springs are actually made by Eibach. Which I guess would kind of be the reason why the sportline and the skunk2 drops are almost identical... at least that's my reasoning.
Yes, you should get the camber kit. I have had my skunk2 springs on for almost ~4k-5k miles now. Though the rear camber doesn't look that bad, but you can tell. I'm not running stockies though. I replaced my stock A/S tires long before the springs were ever put on. I'm running Nitto Neo Gens which love camber. I still plan on getting the Camber arms soon though. Don't wait too long on the stock A/S though. I think the front drop on the 2 set ups are the same, its only the rear that the skunk2 sits a little bit lower. Also, my springs did not settle or its was extremely minimal because they look they same height as it was the day it was installed thank god because I didn't want my tires to get tucked. The fender sits perfectly right at the top of the shoulder. |

^^ i think ur lucky lol, but i guess it depends on a bunch of factors. i was talking to a guy in here who's got the skunk2 and he told me that they did settle down a bit more, and the drop was a lil bit more than expected (that's y he was thinking on switching to tein or eibach).

Camber is a good thing as long as there is more in the front than in the rear. If there is more negitive camber in the rear than the front, the rear end will have more traction which will cause the car to push (understeer) in the corners. This is the way the camber comes from the factory. Honda does this because a car that pushes is safer for the street even though they know its not good for handling. If you get some adjustable front camber bolts for 30 and adjustable rear camber arms, you can max out the front camber at around -1.75 degrees and lessen the rear camber to -1.25 to -1.50 degrees. This will make a huge difference in how the car handles. The car will still push do to the fwd lay out but the push will be greatly reduced. If you are afraid of getting uneven tire wear with the negitive camber, all you have to do is drive spiritedly
once and a while.
