Someone should do a write up on how to install camber kits. I now there easy but it would be a nice sticky to add :) to the collection along with highrev's excellent write up on suspension

i just finished installing my f/r spc camber kit...my rear seems higher now than it used to be on stock camber...why is that? so later im going to get an alignment maybe -1.0f and -1.5r toe 0 all around...what do you guys think on this set up? or what would be the best on daily driving and maybe drag race once in a while?

please help ASAP

I would go with a camber setting of -1.5 front, -1.0 rear, 0 toe all around for good tire wear. You'll experience less understeer

So i got the Eibach Sportline springs and Skunk Rear camber kit and the Ingall front camber kit/bolts. and my drop on my car is around 1.4 inches in front and back. Do you still reccommend to get my camber setting of setting of -1.5 front, -1.0 rear, 0 toe all around for good tire wear. what do you reccommend so that i can get the least amount of tire wear? Please let me know..thanks

I'm running stock suspension setup on my FA5, I went in to get an alignment yesterday and my camber setting on the right rear was like -2.25 or more, the fronts were around -1 or a lil more. Since the suspension is stock thus having no adjustments in the rear, they couldn't adjust the right rear. The person doin g the alignment showed me the visable evidence of the camber on that side, he said it was because that rim has damage. I'm running stock wheels and tires non summer. The night before I had the right rear tire blow out. It tore all along the inner tire. The tire was in good condition, and the tread was like 70% life left. So my questions are: do I need a rear camber kit? And did me getting a flat and drivin like a mile on a flat(had to get off the fwy) mess up the rim? Sorry for the lengthy post. Need yours guys' input. Thanks.

-2.25 are extreme, tires wear off fast. max -1.5
getting the rim replaced only option unless you can affort changing tires often

wonder why you're on -1 since its stock?
unless you like to take fast corners, best revert to 0

my case its on aftermarket coilover therefore need camber to offset them
was at -2.45 and later rise up the spring by 1/2 inch can only get -2.2
so adding camber only solution

for your case something is wrong unless your car did hit something
or your stock camber area damaged

How hard is it to install a spc rear camber arm? I'm kinda a noob but ive already done a cai and headers myself. Besides the alignment, would i be able to do this myself with some help?

dropped on skunk2 springs about to be running nitto neo gens on stock si wheels...gunna run a -1.25F -0.75R 0 Toe all around alignment setup. is this good for about 40 miles highway everyday as far as camber wear and such?

i know toe does, im out align so bad right now im owning my tires...lol...but camber wears insides...? could i go more camber than this without worring about premature inside wear?

it will just wear the tire the same, but on different bits. I'm running -3F/-2.5R camber, and i just rotate the tires every 3k miles and they are fine.

As long as your toe is at zero, and you rotate the tires every 5k you should have no problems having them last just as long as others

so i have a question and forgive me if this is already posted but i did not see it or i over read it. Is it possiable to buy tein s tech springs and lower your car and get it to align back up to factory specs? i dont want to be testy on switching the camber and etc, i just want to lower my car and have it sitting back to factory settings. so with that said is it possiable to get the factory setting without the camber kits?

Probably not. The factory settings are a bit shitty... You'd be better off lowering it and just getting the rear camber arms from skunk2 ( or the new ones from SPC with the turnbuckle adjuster)

Then get the rear negative camber which will be gained with the drop put to 0. You will need an alignment anyway to set the toe to 0, or you will chew your tires up.

anything up to about -3 camber can have minimal tire wear issues with the proper contact patch ie air pressure....i am running -3 in the rear until i roll my rear fenders and have 8/32nds outside tread and 8 32nds inside tread and ive been riding this for over a year now...my toe is at 0 so if ur having inside tire wear at less then -3 somethings telling me your not check ur pressures correctly....or dont want to have it at a higher psi...

I have a question that I don't think has been completely addressed yet having read the entire thread today. Would getting the front camber bolts on a completely stock suspension be a good idea for increased handling (Not alot of highway driving of course). Also what could I set the camber to both front and rear with only one set of front camber bolts?
