He gets them out of the Factory Slip bolts...Not the factory mounting bolts. Honda allows up to 2 of their factory slip bolts to be used in order to keep the suspension within factory spec. There different that just the regular bolts...

Right where the Factroy bolts mount the strut to the knuckle...There replacment bolts that are slighly thinner than the stock ones...No cam on the just a smaller bolt.

What do you mean what can you tell them...Tell them to set it to what I suggested, but camber kits are needed for this adjustment..

Good info Highrev1

Do you have any opinions about Eibach's Prokit springs? I want to lower my Si conservatively without breaking my wallet. I know lowering/raising a suspension will change the geometry, but after reading this post it looks like I wouldn't need a camber kit with the Pro springs. Just an alignment job.

I do long commutes so treadwear is important to me. Any advice would help.

I would get camber kit front and rear. Then get a nice alignment.

AFter how much of a drop would you suggest a camber kit - would 1.5" warrant one...

Would you suggest using the lower mount as opposed to the upper mount for the front camber bolts? Just wondering cause SPC says top mount, I know it's just pivot points. Would a set of 4 be better then 2 or do you really only need 2?

4 will give you a larger adjustment range than 2. At 70 bucks for 4, why not?

If i were to use 2 what would be the better mounting location, upper or lower or does it really matter? SPC says upper, can anyone suggest otherwise?

The rear SPC kit is easier to adjust than the Skunk2 but I have heard that the SPC kit can slip.

So if I go with the Eibach Pro kit, will I need a camber kit?

I have seen people that used these springs without a camber kit because it only drops 1". So if I dont get a camber kit how will my handling be effected?

IMO..It's not about springs...Its about being able to adjust your alignment settings...Though maybee needed for tire wear why not have real control over your suspesnion for handling features?
