You'll also need the wheel bearings. The Si has larger wheel bearings than the EX to accomodate larger wheel weight (optional 18's and aftermarket wheels). Great thinking on Honda's part.

I looked at hondaparstdeals and compared the Si and EX brakes. They were the same price, so is there any difference at all?

I guess the only way to be sure is to measure the diameter of the SI's front rotor, including the caliper. Can any SI owners help ? Thanks in advance....

It'll be great if the Si's front brake kit can fit the 16" rim, cos I'd want to keep the rims when I do the upgrade.

Below are the parts which I intend to order from Hondapartsdeal. Anything I missed ?

Besides bigger front rotors (SI - 16", EX - 14"), the SI has bigger pistons (54mm) and calipers too. Also, I found out the bearings, wheel hub, front knuckle and lower arm of the SI are different from EX's (by checking part numbers). Honda probably made the SI's brakes and suspension links beefier than the EX, to take on the extra power.

If you are looking for even better braking power but want to keep to 300mm rotors, just get the SI calipers but use aftermarket performance rotors (e.g. powerslot) and brake pads (e.g. hawk).
