Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I am interested in installing stainless steel brake lines - but am wondering if it is worth it to do with the stock brakes?
Also - are any ss lines preferred over others - or are they all basically the same?

Thanks

From what I understand, it's probably a better upgrade to do pads, and the SS lines than it is to say get a whole bbk.Especially for just normal driving, or just spirited runs. I don't know a lot about different brands, but I know Goodridge makes goon ones. Those are the ones I'll probably get. Or if you want to be a big baller, you can get the Project Mu lines and brag to your friends about the parts they can't see!

why are you interested in installing some? because the reason why might be better addressed or solved by changing/fixing something else....

what type of driving do you do?
what's happening with your brakes that makes you believe that ss lines are necessary?
have you changed anything else with your brakes yet? better fluid? different pads?

it is better to do pads than lines, lines dont increase braking power, lines help with linear pedal feel. Rubber lines expand under pressure, while the SS lines do not.

with that being said....it is possible that your fluid might be getting too hot and the stock lines can be a culprit...usually depending on the type of driving you do...

...again, finding out the reason why will help discern the necessary mods.

Are you planning on doing any autox or circuit racing? If not just get the pads. If you are get both.
