Eibach Pro Kit on Hybrid Impressions
Thanks to the 8thcivic DIY suspension thread, my brother and I were able to swap the springs on my Hybrid in about three hours.
The only tricky thing I ran into was removing the front strut nuts, even after loosening it while the strut was in the car. My solution below. Also be careful not to lose any little ball bearings when you remove the tops of front strut assembly. Trust me...those buggers are hard to find The after pic below was taken after a 5 mile test drive so it may settle a bit more. The ride is excellent. Handling is much flatter with less body role. No more harshness than stock (maybe a tad stiffer over bumps). In fact my wife didn't notice any difference in ride quality at all. I'll post the rest of my Hybrid mods in another thread this weekend. Cheers!
