Lowering my ride!

Hello everybody!

I am thinking of loweing my car.
I have not made my mind whether to go for coilovers (asjustable spring) and non-adjustable shock OR adjustable spring and shoch.

I am leaning towards first option since I cannot afford to spend that much on suspension at the moment.

I know there are many experience people roaming arroud this forum!
Guys, could you advise me what kind of shock should I get for my coilover and if you know a good online store where I can get it.
I am new to this stuff and I was not able to fins many shocks for 2006-2007 civic online; however, there is decent amount of coilovers and springs.

Best regards!

P.S. Looking forward to your answers

Thanks =]

I am thinking to go from 2 to 2.5" lower. I cannot decide untill I actually see it on my car.

As far as I have figured, to go for coilover spring and separately for shock will be a little cheaper.

Need your advises.

Jeshua,Tein Flex is adjustable both spring height and shock dumping; I did a quick price check and they turned out to be about 1800 USD, is that correct?

I was thinking to get coilovers (adjustable height springs) for about 400 USD and to buy shocks separately to save some money. If I am mistaking in my approach let me know.

Once again, thank you.

It's actually a good approach to buy them separate. Only problem is, there are no shocks for our cars at the moment.

You're right, I only said Flex because you're wanting a lower drop. Going springs/struts isnt very advanced right now but you could get a set of springs.. skunk2 / sportline

You will definitly require a camber kit. Add that to it.
