Lower!!!

So I want my 07 FG2 lowered... And i'm annoyed because I saw a video of a sick nasty Turbo RSX-S and it was low and looked gooooood so I want my car lower. Anyway, what's the best? I'm looking for about 1.5" - 2.5" lower. There are the Tien S, Buddy Club, or Eibach. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Tien S and Eibachs are a notable favorite. I think Tien S would be the way to go for the drop.

If you want the lowest. Go skunk2. The Eibach sportline kit just sits a lil bit higher in the rear, but the front looks about the same

1. The lower you go the sooner your stock dampers will blow
2. Lowering the car too much, make sure you know a farmer because you will be driving a plow. I.E. your car will push like dump truck.

What is the purpose of the car? Are you looking for improved handling or for looks? IMHO get the HFP suspension come out to Jersey I will install it as long as you buy the beer while I do it That would be the best balance that is out right now, or the mugen kit but thats $$$

I didn't know you like the HFP. Do you happen to know the spring rates on those bad boys?

Its not like I like it but it is what is properly valved to one another Dampers to springs. Stock is Front spring rate 200 Rear spring rate 230. I don't think anyone knows the HFP spring rates.

Buy the HFP suspension kit, sell the springs, buy eibach springs, and a rear camber kit.

since you don't seem all that worried about the ride, and just about the height, why don't you save your money and just hack a coil or two off your stock springs......

That would be good if he would know what he's doing and has experience cutting springs.

It depends on what your definition of "best" is.

Keep in mind that lowering springs will reduce the lifespan of your shocks. And if you go with 2.5" lowering springs, your handling would be hurt by the sizable loss in suspension travel. Loss of suspension travel means you'll be riding a lot more on the bumpstops, which isn't ideal for hard cornering.

And if you're looking for more predictable suspension performance, you'd also have to consider whether the springs are linear or progressive. Progressive maintains a less harsh ride (Eibach, among many other makers), but can be less predictable under hard cornering, esp. when the springs abruptly switch from the softer to harder rates (or vice versa).
