Tein SS coilovers shock damper setting front and back

hey i installed Tein SS coilovers on my si sedan. now they come preset at the hardest setting, what i would like to know is what is the best setting for damper in the front and the back, eg. 12 front-10 back, the tein ss has 16 levels 16 being the hardest. My buddys STI is set to 10 front 12 back but its a 4wd so wats our best setting being fwd and front heavy. thanks in advance.

If your Tein suspension is brand new then they recomend you put all 4 corners on the softest setting for like a week to "break them in." So they settle.

16 is the stiffest.

As for settings. It's personal preference. Do you like it stiff, soft, what are you gonna be using your car for, etc.

RIght now I have them a 14 on the front and 12 in the rear for the track event I went too(still have some camber all around also). Usually I have it set at 4 in the front and 2 in the back so the nice daily ride. Right now Im enjoying eating up some corners.
