How much rear negative camber increase with 1" drop?

Guys without camber kits; how much negative camber are you seeing without a rear camber kit and a 1" drop on your Si coupes?

I have the HFP kit and it lowers about 1" or so. Upon my initial alignment (with all stock Honda parts) I had -2.2 and -2.1 deg of negative camber in the rear. I then installed the Skunk2 rear upper control arms and had it re aligned. I now have -.9 and -1.1 negative camber in the rear. There is enough adjustment with these arms to get it to 0 if needed.

Wow, nearly a full degree picked up from a 1" drop. That's quite a camber curve! My goal is -1.25 for the rear and -1.5 for the front. This should be a good compromise between tire wear and performance. I have the Ingalls bolts for the front so I should be good there and I guess I will get one of the rear camber kits as well.

Thanks man!

What do you mean you have -2.2 and -2.1 rear camber with the HFP kit alone and why do need a camber kit if that is the case?

This is within Honda spec.

If there isn't a whole lot of toe in/out (hence try for 0 toe), -2 deg isn't really THAT bad for tire ware. Toe tears up tires worse that neg camber. My car is a daily driver and I just wanted to have less neg camber...you don't NEED the kit...I'm just being anal!

I plan to add a little more front neg camber. With the factory parts I'm right at -0.1 deg. I'd like to be at -0.8 - 1.2. I didn't want to use those cam bolts because I've heard of them not holding the alignment well. I've never used them though. I might try some factory bolts and turn them down 1mm or so.

If you plan to get a rear kit, look at the Skunk2 kit, the ends are threaded for adjustment. They aren't like the SPC or Comptech pieces that adjust with a cam that could possibly move over time.
