New Drop springs out - NEUSPEED 2" drop

so Im looking to get drop springs for my 06 civic sedan

the main ones out right now are

tein - 1.5" F and R

sprint- 1.7" F and R

and now Neuspeed has their springs out

the RACE springs are 2" F and R

im curious if anyone thinks that 2" is too low ... any idea if Neuspeed springs are good quality ? .. i have no experience with them

thanx

Neuspeed is the sh't....the stuff they do for Volkswagen/Audi is VERY popular. Not many people know they also do Honda/Acura parts as well. This would be a pretty aggressive drop on anything larger than 17's. I think the largest without rubbing would be 17x8. 18's is 18x7, maybe 17.5. Just an estimate, so somebody may have a more accurate take on that.

with a 225 series, you may encounter some rubbing, but I don't honestly think it will be as bad as, say 235 series. You may need to roll the fenders a bit. You can do that with a bottle or a baseball bat. It's easy as cake and won't wrinkle your paint.

its prolly a better idea to go with the 1.7" sprint springs .. or go with a 215 40 18" tire and the neuspeed springs ... i wish someone had them already but they are so new that most people dont even know about them

2" front and back? i would have thought neuspeed would have made them higher in the rear.

Ive got the teins now with no fender gap (or very minimal) on stock size tires with Lude wheels.

Im getting a set of 205/45/16 inch dunlops tomorrow though which will add to my wheel gap.

So now I might get the neuspeeds unless GC makes sleeves soon.

I checked on the neuspeeds last night and I think I will be going w/ them. I'm getting the bilstein shocks too, but they are like 91 bucks a piece so imma have to wait another 2 weeks until I get paid so I can order the springs and shocks at the same time. I advise anyone else who is getting them to get the shocks too. Two inches is a pretty aggressive drop, and you don't wanna put that much stress on those stock shocks.

I was under the impression we didn't need one due to the new angled suspension. Some one plz correct me if im wrong, I vaguely remember reading that somewhere. If in fact a camber is needed I will wait and just get it when it comes out.

Do you know what camber you're at now with the drop? You may not need the camber kit. I think SPC makes one but some level of camber can actually improve handling. I think TOV said it's between 3 and 5 degrees negative for the Si.
