Anyone Have Brembo's on their SI??

Well, the title pretty much said it...

I was wondering, becuase one of the avatars i saw had a HFP kits with Brembo Big Break kit on it.

And i really do not think it was the SI sport concept.
cuz the wheels were definitly the HFPs, and the car wasnt white.

should be possible since the jdm ctr has the brembo kit on it. i believe gtmotoring sells the calipers and rotors from the jdm ctr.

Why not get ROTORA?

ROTORA’s Front 4 Piston 2 pc 330MM Disc BBK Setup

It is already released. You can even get a 1 pc 330MM disc to save some $. And ROTORA's 2 pc setup will be almost a $1,000 less than Brembo.

So has anybody determined if the CTR's Brembo's would fit the FG2? I'm sure later down the road, I'll just get the Rotora's, but I'll need bigger rims first.

What're the performance levels (theoretical and experienced) of the Rotaras over stock for daily driving 90%, 10% track?

Thanks.

Unless you are a heavy track performer, a big brake kit is largely a waste of money. For a price of around $2000-$3000, you are better off spending that money on excellent summer tires and fairly aggressive brake pads (Axxis Ultimates, Hawks, etc.).

For the record, slotted rotors are the perceivable "best" option when talking about aftermarket applications. Drilled rotors are not a good idea; they provide additional "bite" with the holes, but weaken the rotor overall and reduce its ability to dissipate heat under high stress. They are better than stock rotors, but less metal = less material to absorb heat = reduced cooling efficiency. Don't believe anyone who tells you drilled are better than slotted.

But then again, unless you are tracking on courses with long straightaways, you won't really notice the reduced cooling efficiency of drilled rotors.

Tires will make a bigger difference than a BBK, can you hit ABS with your stock brakes? If so then you are at the MAX of your braking.
