Well thats good to know, but regardless, should I still upgrade the endlinks and reinforce the connecting points?

I think the connecting points are more of a concern than the endlinks, but if you've already got the endlinks, you might as well throw them on. As long as they don't rattle

^ Originally, I was not shipped those parts, and I had no idea they were supposed to be added into the case, but I did get it sorted out.

Yeah basically the bar was a royal bitch to install because I didn't know about the adapter kit, then about a month later I finally got the adapter kit, installed it. I think the LCA bracket broke sometime during that winter, which I repaired in the spring. Then I installed the Corsport endlinks which rattled for about another month, then got replacements from Corsport which still rattled, so I said screw it and went back to stock. Everything was right as rain after that. Until I sold the car

Damn you been though alot , just for that bar

So,hmm maybe you got bracket broken because the bar wasnt installed using the adapter at first ??

i have the bar and the kit and all...looked at this thread later that scared me out to the limit !

noone would buy the bar here....but if i install and something go wrong and weld it ... the car's price would go so low when selling the car..when it is getting checked and they see the welded part...

what would you do if you were me ??

Ex,stock suspension - will never upgrade or buy anything else for the car since im planning on getting a GTI next year.. -

Nah, someone else made the same suggestion... I ended up installing the bar basically the same way, I just had to do some customization along the way. Along with some newly-invented swear words.

If you don't want to weld, just use High-rev's strengthening brackets. They're completely reversible.

Ok,so i wonder if the bar would make a difference with the stock EX suspension?

is installing it worth the risk ?
