I have not voted yet, but am thinking about voting yes and then lurking to see all of the discussion around the mystery vote.

I don't think there's really anything to panic about. Temple of VTEC's Project Si has been using the Progress sway bar for a long time (it was the vehicle that was used to test the prototype before production). After hours of track time, the Progress bar seems to work just fine on their '06 Si.

Admittedly, the prototype Progress bar did have a problem where the endlinks snapped from too much load. But that's what prototypes are for. They are currently using the production version.

I visually inspected mine a couple of days ago underneath a lift. There is no sign of any stress or cracks developing. I've had my 22mm progress bar installed for a bit over 6 months now.

Sorry to hear about that, Eugene. What are you going to do/have done to fix the bracket?

Maybe I should get the brackets on my car reinforced before installing the RSB? What a bummer.

Pics would be great.... was it the bracket that broke/tore out or was it the endlink?

I've been reading this but maybe I missed it...can we tell if there is a difference using the stock endlink vs. say the corsport endlinks?

Just wondering...shoot me if we already know this one and I just boneheaded the search.

the fear was that the stock endlinks were too puny and needed to be upgraded to beefier ones such as the corsport and hotchkis. but as in the pictures on the first page, it doesn't matter which you are using... your vehicle is still prone to tearing in that area. but if it's reinforced i would still use stronger endlinks... im using hotchkis btw.

No, I've never tracked it (R18... no point ); I do drive it aggressively sometimes (lots of curvy roads around my place), but I'm definitely not that hard on it. This does give a bit of credence to my "weak LCA brackets" argument though.
