Found out today that the CorSport endlinks aren't greased like the stock ones, so that might be what's up with the rattle. No grease + dirt can = squeaky, clunky. Can you describe the sound better maybe? The CorSport endlinks are adjustable, but not sealed/greased like the stock ones. Not sure what the trade off is but it might be a catch 22 with them. I've heard of the stock ones breaking under stress, but there are other factors involved when talking about breaking an endlink like that, me thinks.

In any case, I'm getting my car back tomorrow with the CorSport endlinks installed on my Progress rear sway bar, so I can update you all when I drive it some. I might end up putting the stock ones back on if the noise is that bad, then return the $55.00 CS endlinks. I don't want clunking, period. That's just bad.

^ Yeah, wait until you get them back, for sure. Some people have had good luck, but both sets I had were bad. And it wasn't my install... I very methodically went though part by part to locate the rattles and the reason.
The rattle sounded like metal on metal, very much like there was a loose bolt somewhere, but I can assure you there wasn't. I double-checked everything time and time again, but it didn't help

I did grease mine up, but perhaps I didn't grease them up good enough.

Here's what our bracket looks like installed

Generally Spherical endlinks are noisy...A sealed set would be the way to go...

Here is a great comparison of a sealed set vs a used unseal spherical setup..Get the sealed setups, there more expensive but are worth the money...

Everyone thank JPSLICK for this photo...Google him he is kinda a big deal on the net..

^ Nice, thanks for the info. I should have gone that way from the start. Are those Hotchkis?

I also have the V2 endlinks and have had no problems with them, mines don't make noises and i din't preload the suspension before instaling them.

I will post pictures of my set up later, ebach prokit, progress sway bar and v2 endlinks and the washer mod reinforcement., pictures will be posted next time i rotate my tires wich should be soon.

Well, so far so good. I actually have some noise in the front of my car when I go over certain bumps, but I have winter treads on and they're much thicker (I think 55 sidewall, or 50). I checked and didn't see any scrape marks where the tire is hitting the wheel well.

Oh, the Eibach spring kit is BY FAR the best spring kit to get for the FA5 Sedan body style. WOW! I'll be posting pics soon when my car isn't so dirty. It's lowered a solid 1.3-1.4" and looks amazing. Again, having some noise, but maybe it's the spring breaking in? Hope it's not the tire smacking the underside of the wheel well, but with my alignment this weekend I'm getting my all seasons put back on (winter's almost over here in PA), and then we'll see.

Other than that, I have had no noise from the end links - but it's early.

Yep, the car's got noise in the rear end from the end links. It's not too bad, though, and is only apparent when I go over a pretty hefty bump. But still, CorSport should do summin' about that.

Update: the end links may be coming off for the OEM end links until I find a suitable replacement. The noise in the rear end is getting worse and worse - it's bumpy around Pittsburgh so these V2 CS end links can't withstand it, apparently. I'm going to the shop Thursday for a full diagnosis, but taking the OEM end links with me in case they suggest I swap them back. I never see end links anywhere on the net for the 2006+ Civic Sis...anyone know where to get them?

Well, for now, I put the stock ones back on yesterday when I got my alignment and ALL the noise/vibration/rattling went away 100%. I'm returning the CorSport end links next week.

^ Yeah that's exactly what happened to me. I've been on the stockers since last summer... when I go Si and transfer the bar over, I may look at the Hotchkis endlinks.

That's what I'm waiting for. I was the first one documenting the LCA problem... why not continue the trend?

I'd rather have them wear out naturally and then have to replace them with some product that will be out by then. I don't push the car all that hard so I'm sure I'll get some wear out of them. To be honest, at this point the car sounds so solid now without the incessant rattling that I don't care how long the OEM ones last. I'll get those Hotchkis once these wear out, though I don't see a model for the newer Si's.

that sound u r speaking of may be the clearance on the endlinks due to the drop on inclines and declines with the wheel turned ur stretching the endlinks

For the 2002-2004 RSX? I saw that Hotchki hasn't made the rear ones for the later model RSX.

Yes, we found it was a combination of vibration of the end link plus rubbing due to the lowered stance of my car against certain parts of the suspension. The stock ones work perfectly, though, with my lowered setup.

Well... The past few day's I've been hearing popping noise from the rear and remembered seeing this thread a while back. So I looked under to check the sway bar and noticed the sway broke from the sub-frame on the left side.

I'll have to get it fixed when I have money. I can feel the difference with it broke now...
