Does the european Civic FN2 have the suspensions as the US Civic SI Coupe? It's necessary to know for me, because I live in germany!

No, the FN2 has a torsion beam suspension to the rear, whereas the FG2 has a trailing arm. FN2 also has higher spring and valving rates compared to the FG2.

No, nor should you want too. They aren't the greatest. Their damping curve suggests that they don't handle well and they don't ride well.

I meant aftermarkets coilovers like KW or such else...

What kind of summary are you looking for? The curves themselves aren't anything out of the ordinary. Except that they are apparently graphing Rebound as positive, other than that...There seems to be a fair amount of rebound adjustment (looking at the last two graphs) which is really what you want to control the most anyways. The compression adjustment is mostly a joke though.

Sure there are. But the FG2 isnt sold here in germany, so the tuners arent selling parts for it.

Did you like the ride on your lude with the OTS konis/GC combo? If you did, why not get them again for the Si? Even though you aren't looking to really compete in any auto xes, I bet you will have more fun with the OTS konis/GC combo then the other two you have listed. Going fast is fun. Going faster is more funner.
The lude konis were just full shocks, not sure what inserts you are referring to? If your friend is getting them, recommend the neuspeed sp3 version or whatever its called. Can never get too much valving Ride was great, handling was great, the setup was awesome all around. But...I can get the hfp kit NOW for $500 brand new, whereas the Koni/GC setup will be probably $1000 and who knows when I'll be able to get them. Sorry for the late reply BTW.

PS - does your friend have a base or an SH?

My friend has an SH. His budget got a little smaller because work got slow. He bought the Tokico HP suspension yesterday. The inserts i was talking about were on Koni's site. They said the Sports for the lude were an insert meaning you put them in the old shock housing. All the sites that sell them say they are a full OTS. Oh well. He didn't get them.

If you've waited this long for a suspension, whats a couple more months and 500 bucks. By the time the OTS sports come out, you will have the money saved up.

^^good stuff. I'd recommend a ST rear sway bar as well for your friend. The ST is only 25mm, so not as extreme as some other ones. But still made a nice difference. I had one for years w/o any end link or brace issues.

Read the "theory" thread. That's some quality stuff. It covers a lot.
