Anyone notice a ride height change after installing sways?

Ever since installing the Progress rear and Civic LX front on my Si I've noticed that the ride height on the car is off, now. The passenger rear is sitting a little lower and the passenger front is sitting a little higher.

Anyone else experience something like this? They're installed right and there was no heavy tension on the endlinks so I'm a bit crossed as to how or why this happened. It certainly didn't happen the last time I had a Progress rear sway on the car.

It's nothing that's terrible or that noticible, but I'm a perfectionist so it's bugging the crap out of me.

I think it's just you because sways don't effect ride height.

Regardless of what it is it is not just me as the room mate has noticed it as well. There is a different ride height on the passenger side of the car, now.

And sway bars can effect ride height. It'd honestly take something incredibly wrong with them to do it, though, which is why it doesn't make too much sense to me given that they are mounted correctly.

The ONLY thing changed to the vehicle was the front and rear sway bars and now the rear sits lower on one side and the front higher on one side. The car was in the air, though, so it could be something as simple as the suspension settling but they've had a few days to do that now and there's been no change.

Did you install the Rear sway bars correctly? Because people do make that mistakes.

It's on correctly. There is plenty of space between the sway bar and the exhaust system. A year ago when I installed the first sway bar I had I did install it incorrectly so I was aware of what it looked like when it was on reversed.

I'm crossed on it to be honest. I'm thinking about throwing the Si sway bar back on the front to see if that fixes this problem or if it's simply the lowering springs acting up now for some reason. Maybe it's time to get coil-overs and just not worry about this at all. lol

Well, i have noticed that when i unbolt both sides of the front suspension one side always says up while the other side hangs low. So, try unbolting it and support both sides of the suspension with jacks and then slowly tighten both sides, going back and forth. It might help. Your springs could be on the wrong side too. Thats really all i can think of, but im no master, just a shade tree.

Why did you install a front sway bar from an LX on your Si? The Si already has a front sway bar and adding an LX front sway bar has no performance gain of any sort. Maybe it is throwing your car out of balance. I would keep the Progress 22mm Rear Sway bar and get rid of the front LX sway bar.
I bet that your problem will go away!

My understanding was that effect of sway bars is a function of the front to rear thickness. Hence, because he beefed up the rear at the same time as reducing the front, the benefits of a larger sway bar are multiplied. Please correct me if I am wrong. This is what all the rsx guys were/are doing

get adjustable endlinks. your swaybar is binding... not an unusual case.
