Tein Stech Springs

Hey guys just slammed the car w/ some TEIN STECH springs,

install was a breeze, If I were to estimate total time of the install was about 3 hours. The front ones were easy as well as the rear. I didn't even use a spring compressor. Believe it or not I felt that installing the damn INJEN CAI was more harder than installing the springs. So, for all of you who believe installing the springs is a difficult time its not.

Make sure you put some anti-seize on all the bolts, that way if you plan on doing anyfuture suspension mods they'll come out easy. The DIY in the suspension forum gave me a rough estimate of what to expect.

If you guys have any questions on the install holla!!! I have lots of tips and just used normal hand tools.

now if you excuse if I have to ice my hands down, my hands are sore, lol.

PS, sorry the ride height was perfect , Make sure when you install the springs that you take notice of the "R" for right side and "L" for left side markings on the springs. This dictates whether they go on the passenger or driver side.

THe ride was nice, felt a little harsher but close to that of the stock feeling, highly recommend! I love the tein springs
will post pics up tommorrow.

These are two pics before it was lowered

after it was dropped

Usually i would torque them down to specs but was lazy to do research so I just tighten them nice w/ hand tools,

the hardest bolts to take off were the rear upper control arms.

I use an impact wrench on the 2 bottom bolts on the fronts and the control arms in the back. Then i use an air wrench on the upper mount in the front. I used to use hand tools but last xmas i got the compresser. It the best mod i have ever got for my car. I installed Tein SS on my Si with a friend in 5 hours with hand tools. 2 weeks ago, i installed Tein Flex's with the power tools by my self in 4 hours. Save up and get a compresser.
