Great write up! Now with all that, GET KONI TO GET OFF THEIR ASS AND RELEASE SOME PRODUCTS! Hell, I'm ready for my Ground Control sleeves but they only work with OEM struts and won't work with the Koni's when they are released so I'd be forced to buy another sleeve setup. Not cool. What is your recommendation then? I don't want to rebuy but don't want to wait 3 months.

Thats good info man. And I think that you are absolutely right. I have custom tuned bilsteins that were made for a Dakota R/T that was lowered with hotckis suspension. It seriously rode as good as stock and handled as well as my stock Si. Thats what I want in my car. I just done know where to begin.

What's the word from Koni?

Plus, I told Matt at RedShift to go ahead and ship me the GC's for stock... 3 days ago. Still no response.

Someone finally knows suspension. Here's a question I wanted to ask for a long time. I was under the impression that a "true" coilover set-up is as follows. (1) Front struts with springs over the strut and (2) Rear shocks with springs over the shock (not to the side). Is this correct and if so, why is the term "coilover" used to described the these different products that are not. please enlighten us. Thanks !!!

According to what Ground Control told Matt at RedShift, the current kit will only work with OEM struts. So when you want to get some Yellows, you'll need to order a new GC kit. I'm not happy right now.

+1 for the great write up! This furthered me in the direction to go with Ground Control, and Koni Yellows. I have never tracked, however I would like to one day, and only want the best for my car, so it looks like this is the right path.

I ordered the GC's for OEM. Maybe someday I'll upgrade to HFP shocks... we'll see.

very good info and thats coming from a guy running coilovers and really enjoys them, at least with my set up I was able to select my spring rates.
