Sorry to disappoint you, but the angle actually favors the opposite! The 'after' is taken from a higher angle making the car look lower, whereas the 'before', taken from a lower angle, makes the car look higher. Were they taken from the same angle, you definitely couldn't see a difference. If there is any difference, it is imperceptible.

You have obviously not seen two civics side by side, one with hfp and one without. There is definitely a noticeable difference.

Any noise from the suspension? Every car I see get suspension work done ends up with noise and problems here and there... Kinda makes me want to stay away

Since it's honda manufactured equipment, there is no aftermarket problems that can normally occur with these alterations, AND it's covered under warranty. I have not heard any squeaks, rattles, bumps, groans, banging, or anything else of the sort.

A sort of related question:

Does anyone know if the HFP SI suspension will fit onto an EX model? Or are the spring/shock rates quite far in comparison?

Reason being, I have an EX sedan w/ the Progress rear sway and i'm debating on whether or not to get the HFP now, or wait till the SI sedan gets a HFP kit.

Oh.. for those debating on Progress bar... don't think about it, just get it. It's amazing.

Hmm, I do know that there is a big difference on the DX/LX/EX models when using the Progress sway as opposed to stock (hugh thickness difference), but I'm not sure that the Si stock sway is much different than progress'. Has anyone compared stock vs progress on the Si Coupe?

18mm and still flexible from what I understand. The Progress bar is 22mm solid with no give at all. The down side is that it's heavier.

with the hfp you wouldnt need to get a camber kit. If you go with tein or any other aftermarket springs you would need camber kits. Plus aftermarket springs are too soft. Softer springs means more lean when you turn hard on corners. You would only go with aftermarket springs solely because you like your ride soft and like to buy lots of tires. I dont even know why people would even buy aftermarket springs for their new fg2. No point if it is going to make your suspension mushy.

Normally in an EX sedan, a quick right-left steering input would almost be enough to send the car into cartwheels which is more scary than the actual close call dodging. With the Progress bar installed, the car was composed, planted and responded to the righ-left with great poise. Combined with after market suspension I think it would be even better.

Most people just buy springs just for a quick fixs, they just want to lower the car with out dropping a lot of money. Also, most springs are just for looks not proformance.

Let me know how the progress stacks up against the Stock sway. I also have the HFP suspension and am curious if the progress sway will give me any real gains.

I have the progress sway on my asm along with the hfp suspension and let me tell you.... night and day compared to stock. it definitely makes the car more neutral with minimal roll in the corners.

i dont see why anyone would do anything to their suspension without getting a camber kit to get it properly aligned. i run a camber kit on stock springs and shocks.
