Lightbulb Sway Bars & AnTi Roll Bars

I'm new the whole suspension aspect of vehicle modding and was hoping some of you very knowledgeable ppl on this site could help me. I was looking into some Progress Tech F+R sway bars to reduce roll and increase ridgity when turning. My question is...do the si's already come with F+R sway bars stock? and if so will replacing them with aftermarket ones really make that much of a difference? thx for all the help

Yes the Si does have f/r sway or anti roll bars (same thing) Changing both would cause the car to turn in a little quicker and rotate better in the corners. If you just change the rear, the car will rotate more than changing both but it will have slower turn in when compaired to changing the front. Right now, Progress has the only full set, f/r (i think). A lot of people on here just run the Progress rear bar. The front Si bar is already 29mm thick which is huge for a car this light so getting more performance out of a front bar will be hard. Me, I'm going to wait until Hotchkis comes out with their competion sway bar set.

thanx very much for the info. if replacing the front sway bar wont really do much then its prolly not worth it for me to get it, so maybe i'll just stick with the rear. i do have another question though, when you say "turn-in" what does that mean?
