Front lower tie bar vs Strut tower bar

Any pros, cons, personal preferences? Is one better than the other or are both of them serving the same purpose?

Doesn't they complement each other? btw...does the Front lower tie bar block the oil filter? does this mean u have to remove it everytime you want to change the oil filter? boooo~

I thought they would compliment one another also. Don't know about the oil filter though. That pic is from a coupe and I have a Si.

Oh definitely. It's all ready on order. Just wanted something to stiffen up the front as well without causing anymore understeer.

Get the strut bar first then the lower tie bar. Or get the H brace

This is not one of the original options, and as he is talking about the front of the car, at least by looking at the pictures he posted...adding an aftermarket swaybar (which would be larger diameter than OEM) would actually induce more understeer and worsen handling performance...

I agree about the front sway bar. I have also read that somewhere as well. I was just looking for something that would improve the handlin in the front of the car without creating more understeer. I guess there isn't too many options. My mind is pretty much made up on what I intend to do to the rear.

I just assumed he was talking about the rear for that very reason. I do not know too many people who buy A/M front sway bars.
